Connecting the East and West through Cultural Exchange

Purple Swans was invited to perform at various cultural events in the greater New York area, including the Asian-American Heritage Festival in Edison NJ, the Chinese Cultural Spectacular in Livingston NJ, Huaxia Chinese Night, Livingston YMCA Asian Culture Day, Plainsboro Chinese Near Year Spectacular, New York Orange County Chinese New Year Celebration, and the Peking University & Fudan University Chinese New Year Celebration at Kaufman Music Center NY. We were also invited to perform at the culture days of private entities, among which are American Express, Novartis and Pingry School. Our 2016 inaugural dance gala “Journey to Shangri-La” as well as the other shows we staged received enthusiastic feedback from audiences of diverse cultural backgrounds. We are committed to continue our efforts to promote cultural exchanges in the community.
