The Purple Swans Corporation is a NJ-registered 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to integrate Chinese and American performing arts while using Purple Swans’ platform to make a positive impact on our communities.

 

• 12/04/2016: inaugural dance gala “A Journey to Shangri-La”. All net proceeds were donated to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in an effort to combat cancer.

• 11/02/2019: song-and-dance gala “Dancing under the Harvest Moon” raised $11,684 for the Mental Health Association in NJ (MHANJ) to provide youth mental health first aid in our communities.

​

• 11/20/2022: song-and-dance gala "Dancing into the Dawn" at the world-class Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown NJ raised $15,956 for MHANJ to battle more aggravated mental health challenges post pandemic.  (Links for 2022 Sponsors)

• 11/15/2023: MHANJ presented Purple Swans with the prestigious Leadership Award at its Evening of Excellence. Purple Swans was the year’s sole institutional honoree and the first community arts-related organization to receive this esteemed recognition.
